As a non-profit arts organization, your ticket covers only 30% of our actual costs—your gift makes up the rest.

We know economic times are tough, for all of us. These are lean days for Jump-Start. Non-profit arts organizations have been particularly hard hit with cutbacks and Jump-Start is no exception. But with a little assistance from some friends, we can beat the heat.
Here are three things we are working on right now that your gift will help us accomplish.
You will help boost Jump-Start’s 25th anniversary season commemorating a quarter century of exciting original performance by local, regional, national and international artists, educational engagement in the community, and providing a community space to a multitude of local artists and performing arts groups.
Finally, you will help us continue our unique educational work in the community. Every week, Jump-Start offers over 50 classes to about 800 participants. These include urban elementary students; children that have experienced abuse, neglect and severe health problems; adults with chronic mental illness and their children; and formerly homeless teens.
