About The Space:
Jump-Start’s theater space can be used for dance recitals, meetings, performances, special events, video shoots, and video screenings. Ongoing weekly and monthly arrangements are available by negotiation.
What’s Inside?
Theater House & Stage:
4000 square feet with 150 to 190 flexible seating on raked platforms. Stage area is 24 feet deep by 32 feet wide and 15 feet high with fixed battons. Total maximum occupancy 290. Fully accessible by wheelchair.
Lobby/ Gallery:
700 square feet. The lobby space is included in all rentals unless otherwise specified. The gallery (exhibition space) is available by special arrangement only. Fully accessible by wheelchair.
Technical Booth:
State of the art lighting and sound systems. An ETC Express 48/96 lighting console, a Mackie CFX-16 Mixer, 5 amplifiers, 2 CD players, 1 MD player.
Box Office & Concessions:
A 25 cubic foot refrigerator. A 12 foot marble top counter with storage space underneath. Fully accessible by wheelchair.
Back Stage:
2 dressing rooms with hanging costume armoires, mirrors and make-up lights. Private bathroom with large shower. Green room with couch, intercom system, large make-up counter, lights and mirror. Fully accessible by wheelchair.
Classroom:
480 square feet with a 4 by 8 foot dry erase board, folding chairs, tables, and private bathroom. The classroom also has separate access and is fully accessible by wheelchair.
Bathrooms:
Newly remodeled, spacious, and fully accessible by wheelchair.
Theater Rental Rates:
Theater rentals include the lobby, concession, backstage dressing rooms, bathrooms, and control booth under supervision of the technical staff.

• Three hour minimum for weekday hourly rentals.
• Jump-Start’s administrative offices are not included in any rental.
• Additional $18.00 per hour charge for each staff member; minimum one staff member is required for all rentals.
• No staffing fee during regular business hours (9am to 3pm, Mon-Fri), if technicians or staff are not required.
• Daily rates are based on an eight hour day. There is an additional $25 per hour charge for any hours exceeding eight.
• Minimum of one full day rental on weekends, Friday through Sunday.
Classroom Rental Rates:
Hourly $50.00 (Minimum 2 hours)

Equipment Rental Rates:
Video projector w/ VHS or DVD playback and 6×8 screen.
Daily $100.00
