Summer Sparks 2012
Call for Entries
Jump-Start Performance Co. is accepting proposals for participation in Summer Sparks 2012, a festival of original performance work by local artists.
Proposed work should be finished (this is not a developmental showcase), 15 minutes or less playing time, and should never have been presented in San Antonio in finished form.
Performance dates are June 8-9, 2012. Selected pieces may be asked to play one or more of those performance dates. Selected artists may be asked to participate in panel discussions and/or community workshops as well. A small stipend will be paid and you will have access to high-quality documentation materials from the event.
The deadline to submit a completed proposal form and support materials (Resumes, production stills, video clips, reviews, etc.), is May 7, 2012. Please include as full a description of the piece as possible, for marketing purposes. And keep in mind that the structure of the event will best support minimal and/or easily portable technical and scenic elements.
Selected participants will be notified via email on May 11, 2012.
