Finding Love in Wartime is an original movement performance piece set to poems of love, war and personal struggles. Audience members will travel through the theater, inside and out, on an emotional journey. Performed by Monessa Esquivel, Dino Foxx, Robert Rehm, S.T. Shimi, Lisa Suarez and Kitty Williams. Lighting design by Billy Muñoz and original sound design by Paul Harford.

The double bill will also feature cast member & poet-activist Dino Foxx’s solo work, Memoirs of a Joto, PART 1. Set to haunting iconic images and music, Foxx will explore themes of family (dis)unity, ethnic bonds & divisions, assimilation & displacement, sexuality & love. Both productions are part of the Electric Performance Lab, a program designed to nurture new company works. Audiences will fill out surveys and are invited to stay for post-show discussions
