“Path of Marigolds” written by award-winning author and painter Raquel
Valle-Senties of Laredo, depicts the life of a Mexican-American woman Ariana
(Jennifer Hachar), who must confront the pain and struggles of her marriage.
On the eve of Dia de los Muertos, Ariana has a stroke of luck when she and
her friend, Consuelo, (Celina Alvarado), are visited by her three heroes:
Marilyn Monroe (Tacee Royce Walters); Frida Kahlo (Tricia Cortez); and Sor
Juana Inez de la Cruz (Laura Flores).
The spirits come down from the heavens to help guide Ariana in a very
important decision at an electrifying dinner party sure to keep you on the
edge of your seats!
“Path of Marigolds” had a successful three-day run in Laredo, with the
five-woman cast performing before several sold out audiences.
