This Spring, San Antonio’s Premier Sketch Comedy Troupe, COMEDIA A GO-GO,
will unleash their latest original production, ” PUBLIC AXIS ” an all new full length
comedy experience that will do what everyone wishes their TV could. For two
weekends in April, COMEDIA A GO-GO will bring thier unique brand of sharply satiric
and always uncensored sketch comedy to the Jump-Start stage. From mindless mass
media and Filipino action stars to dysfunctional families and our oversexed nation,
” PUBLIC AXIS ” will desecrate the discount family portrait that is popular American culture. Armed with a dangerous wit and a fearless inhibition, Comedia A Go-Go will make you laugh, make you think, and scream out loud what others only whisper.
Comedia A Go-Go is an independent San Antonio based multi-media performance company who writes, performs, and produces a unique brand of sketch comedy. Founded in 2002 and celebrating their 5th year anniversary, this troupe of twenty-somethings has produced over thirty video pieces and over fifty theatrical productions in venues that range from burger joints and coffee shops to S.A.’s Guadalupe Theater and Austin’s State Theater.
